A Cinderella story with a big wolf and lots of hero rodents. There is an inn and a dream just out of reach for the young girl. There is an evil aunt who's stolen her birthright and there is a hero wolf who loves her.
It nice short story, that written along the hero save maiden type story, it has great base. When Alpha is intent on getting back what was stolen, he find more then he thought at the inn.

love happy endings
A short but most enjoyable story and interesting take on a fairy tale. June is a maid in her aunt's inn. Dominick could be the hero to rescue her. But will their differences keep them apart? Will dishonesty win the day? Only by reading will you find out.
Voluntarily reviewed
Very short story, felt like a few things were missing. Cute premise but could definitely used more detail as to why a lot of things were so and the story ended rather abruptly leaving again more questions.
If these details had been added I would definitely have given a higher rating but I will say what was there was interesting and well written.

I have read other books by this author that I really loved and connected to the characters. This one didn't quite hook me as well as the others did. I felt that Dom's character wasn't built enough for me to connect to him. Even though he was a shifter, we don't actually see much of his shifter form or hear much of his back story.
Now when it comes to June, I connected more with her since it focused a lot more on her back story and her life, which just so happens to have a lot of similarities to Cinderella.
I also felt that the ending was a bit rushed for my liking. One minute, their relationship was starting, and then the next minute, it was solidified. I felt it needed a bit more of a buildup.
June and her parents used to own a magical inn called the Summer Inn. June was very happy there with her family until her parents died. Her Aunt now has custody of her and the inn. She makes June do most of the inn's work and gives her only a little alcove to sleep in and very little food. June's only friends are a rat and some mice who live in the inn. Jane stays on because she has nowhere else to go and she is hoping her Aunt will give her a few of her mom's last possessions.
Dom is a werewolf and son to the alpha. Hi brother was supposed to be fetching a special ceremonial knife for the pack but it was stolen from him at the inn. Dom decides that he has to go get the knife before his father starts a war. The owner of the in is a mean woman but the only worker in the inn is a kind and beautiful girl. He is instantly attracted to June and wants to protect her. Maybe the tow can help each other get their things back.
Very good hard to stop reading love these kind of books
