Diplomacy has failed, compromise could not be reached, and egos prevailed over common sense. America was now at war with itself. Every death, every injury, would be an American one. Over the course of the conflict, more Americans would die than during all the other wars in our history combined.
California, trying to remain neutral, suddenly finds it is under attack from Mexico. The Mexican government seizes the opportunity to regain territory while the rest of America is engaged in the second Civil War.
The newly formed American Republic calls on Canada to broker a peace settlement to end the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of American lives. Unfortunately the conference does not achieve the desired end to the conflict. With the devastation escalating, there is a desperate need for someone to come forward with a rational solution to end the hostilities. Can sanity be regained before one side or the other resorts to nuclear weapons?

A NATION AT WAR The Second Civil War Book II The Second Civil War BOOK II 1 eBook Marshall Huffman

I downloaded the first part of this three part book for free and recommend that you do not do that unless you have the $10 to spend on parts 2 and 3 because you will definitely buy them. It is a very good read and predictive of America's probable future. Highly recommended.

A NATION AT WAR The Second Civil War Book II The Second Civil War BOOK II 1 eBook Marshall Huffman Reviews

This book was very well written, the plot could happen today and the people in this book remind me of certain people today in real life.
This is one of the best books, about this topic, that has been written. I could not put the book down. It is firmly rooted in reality and common sense. The portrayal of the President, which is clearly based on Obama, gives this story a genuine feel. Most Americans know that civil war is comming. It is no longer a matter of if, but when. The well thought out sequence of events, in this fictional account, is right on the mark, on how it will play out in reality.

If you are a brainwashed liberal or European, this is not the book for you. It pulls no punches and sticks to reality. The treachery and self-righteousness of the modern political left, is not sugar coated. The true face of the evils of socialism is portrayed as it really is. There is a lesson to be learned about leftist tyranny and the unwinnable war, they seem intent on driving this country into. However, the arrogance of the left, ensures this lesson will not be learned.
